Supplies needed:
-- PSP
-- main tube of choice (I used a tube by TC Cor that I purchased from CILM when they were open.)
-- scrap kit "Bad Kitty" by MistyLynn. you can also purchase this gorgeous kit over at SATC.
-- the plugins EyeCandy 4000, MuRa Meister Perspective Tiling and Lokas Gel.
-- Jazzy's "basic" drop shadow setting of 2, 2, 50, 3 and color black
-- drop shadow setting of 2, -5, 70, 3.2 and a dark color from your tube/kit.
-- mask of choice. i used a mask by Aqua. she has lots of great ones at her blog.
-- font of choice.
Now let's create!
**FYI - SOME ADULT CONTENT IS PRESENT IN FINAL CREATION**
1. Duplicate your
tube, close the original. Resize your canvas to
600x600, hide tube layer.
2. Choose
color from kit or tube in stroke, choose ellipse tool > oval. Line style solid, width 6. Draw an oval and position it in the canvas' center, then
convert to raster.
3. Draw
a smaller oval. Convert to raster,
duplicate twice, and place them in a row under larger oval as shown below. Merge down to make smaller ovals one layer.
4. Choose Paper5, paste as new layer in under the large oval. Click
inside oval with your magic wand, selections > expand by 3, invert, delete.
5. Create a new raster layer and floodfill it with another color from kit or tube. Move this layer under the smaller ovals, repeat above. Apply
3D effects > texture effects > blinds with the following
settings (but use a paler shade of your floodfill color):
6. Open Paper6, paste it in as a new layer. Apply your mask, merge group, then send to bottom.
7. Show your
tube layer, and apply a drop shadow to it. Move the tube if needed until you are happy with the placement. Return to the large
oval layer, click your magic wand inside it. Selections > expand by 3, invert, delete.
8. Copy
tube layer, bring it down to the set of small ovals.
Repeat step seven with the area of tube you wish to show inside the smaller
ovals (minus the drop shadow, which you already have). Merge down all three layers of
small oval fill, then in your layer palette, choose blend mode darken and lower opacity to 50.
9. Now for some elements. All elements are resized with the smart size setting. Apply basic drop shadow after each element is placed:
Bow01,
50%, place to tie large oval and smaller ovals together.
Cupcake02,
35%, place off to right.
Whip,
50%, place on left small oval.
Feather02, 50%, place on left side of large oval.
Flower01, 30%, duplicate and place at random on large oval.
Lipstick,
30%, place between center/right small ovals.
Polish, 50%, place between left/center small ovals.
10. Add
some noise to your ovals. Adjust > add/remove noise > add noise > random
60.
11. Make a new raster layer for your name. Go
to effects > 3D effects, inner bevel with the settings below,
then apply the second drop shadow setting mentioned at the beginning of
the post:
12. [optional] Make a new raster
layer, apply text inside ovals. Apply second drop shadow setting ONLY.
13. Make a new raster layer for the appropriate copyright/your watermark.
